SuperTuxKart, semplice ed immediato gioco arcade 3d, ispirato ai ben più famosi e "commerciali" Super Mario Kart e Crash Team Racing, esce in questi giorni con una nuova e interessante versione.
Il team di sviluppo ha infatti concentrato gli sforzi del prorio lavoro cercando di migliorare la giocabilità ed il divertimento; implementando nuovi tracciati di gara, diverse modalità multi-player, nuovi modelli di kart e introducendo alcuni nuovi bonus e items. Inutile ricordare che il gioco è completamente freeware ed opensource.
E’ possibile scaricarlo tramite i repository delle maggiori distribuzioni oppure, in alternativa, direttamente dal portale del progetto.
Oltre ad essere disponibile per GNU/Linux è presente anche per piattaforme Mac OS X (Tiger, Leopard) e Windows (XP, Vista).

personalmente lo trovo molto divertente…non è sicuramente un gioco da “hardcoregamer”…ma per ammazzare il tempo e divertirsi anche in multiplayer è decisamente l’ideale… semplice leggero e veloce.
